Art Camp Creative Camp

The Municipal Regional Theatre (DI.PE.THE.) of Kozani, in cooperation with the Kivotos Centre for Rehabilitation, Day Care and Daily Care for people with disabilities, organises the weekly educational Art Camp.

Art Camp is a seven-day programme of special educational and experiential workshops, held at the Kivotos premises in Argilos, Kozani. Its aim is to develop a methodology for the inclusion of people from vulnerable groups in society, as well as to highlight the artistic abilities of people with and without disabilities.

The programme seeks to remove social, economic and cultural barriers through art — through the meeting of people in a shared artistic process. The language of the body, the voice, music and space become vehicles of communication, dialogue and exchange.

Through play, improvisation and collaboration, Art Camp creates a space where everyone has a place, a voice and the chance to express themselves.
